Thanks Johnny boy it was a great game one had to hold his breath until last minute both the teams were almost equal Bruins got 36 hits and Canucks only 33 hits on goal one of the great game to watch specially when the teams dominate each other

NHL format for team with home filed advantage is finals is not as much of an advantage as the NBA or MLB finals format
NBA and MLB format for team with home field advantage is: game# - 1&2 home, 3,4&5 away and 6&7 home.
NHL format for team with home field advantage is: game#- 1&2 home, 3&4 away, 5 home, 6 away and 7 home.
It is easier to sweep a 2 game series at home, statistically happens more often and very difficult to sweep a 3 game series at home, happens quite rarely.
Since only games 3,4 are in Boston and not games 3,4 and 5. If you are a Bruins fans you have still hopes and a Canucks fan not too elated.

Almost everything already has happened in the first three games of this Stanley Cup Final.
There have been last-shot victories and blowouts. There have been big hits and after-the-whistle scrums. There have been injuries and suspensions. And there have been surprises, such as Boston's suddenly dangerous power play and Vancouver's struggling man-advantage unit.
Game 4 is Wednesday here at TD Garden (8 p.m. ET, VERSUS, CBC, RDS). What else possibly could happen?

Bruins have come back before when down ...and with next game at home Monday nite in Boston, I expect a Bruin's win and a final 7th game win by the Bruins in Vancouver...and Longo's comment regarding Thomas's lack of stopping that Canucks sole goal in last game 5, along with that cheap shot putting Horton out for the final 4 games will spark the Bruins..
That it is.....Great to see 2 teams that both should be proud of their accomplishments this year and deserving, no matter the final outcome..both from totally different backgrounds, style and histories, long slumps...these are the 2 teams that should be playing game 7, and makes hockey and all sports have such a profound affect on many of us..
Obviously I'm a Bruins and all Boston fan, and an American as well and want to see the Bruins win it all...but however the outcome, both teams can hold their heads high this year overcoming many obstacles..
we can go back and forth about cheapshots..Horton's severe concussion and inability to play now is huge, could have been life threatening....so lets not start whining about em...too late and done.....lets play hockey!

WOW, what sort of fans are these?...fans get wild, party, have fun, and celebrate when their team wins, but NOT angry and do this to their own people and city when they lose..
Congrats to the Canucks hockey team for being in the Cup, but shame on the fans for being such losers....theses type of lowlife actions (looting and stabbings) is reminiscent of New Orleans and the actions after Hurricane Katrina by people who lost their homes and everything they owned...not simply over losing a hockey game....makes ya wonder...I'd hate to see these fans in a real life disaster facing disappointment, frustrations, and challenges ahead.....seems these fans lost the true purpose of sports and sportsmanship, to bring people together and forget about differences..
Congratulations Boston! Although Boston is not my favorite city, they won me over with their great performance. Tim Thomas is my kind of player! Awesome! I always go with the USA team instead of Canada anywayz.
hawaiian..U would love Boston, and fit right in with the great fans there...come on over to the other side....lol....Boston fans (in any sport) would forgive yer past...honestly if ya talk to most any fans from any city who have been to games in NY, they all say and think the same..NY fans at home are just rude people, like Philly fans too.....now talk to these same fans about their experiences in Boston , and they'll tell ya that Boston fans are loyal and die hard, but welcome other teams and fans, and share beers and laughs afterwards...unlike NY..
