Hi All
I have just acquired a Panasonic LCD TV panel with component video inputs. Apparently the AV4 Scart connection is shared with these?
I intend to connect to my Sony GX7 DVD recorder using the component connections, and understand I must also connect an scart lead between the AV1 on the DVD to the AV4 on the TV panel for the sound channel.
Since I am using a full 21 pin cable scart lead how does the panel recognise the component video?
There are no settings to change, other than to tell the Sony to switch on Component Outputs, does this switch off the video in the Scart connection?
Probably a basic question but I cannot find the answer in the manuals supplied. Thanks in advance

TX32LXD1 - it does not run hot as such.
Component connections are being overwridden by the AV4 scart links Why?
