Hello Either Nalin or any expert: Since yesterday I have a problem with SonicView 8000HD. There is no signal and both signal line and quality line is flat and I cannot get any channel including their 101 etc. However when the cable from the dish is connected I get the correct time shown. Ethernet cable is connected properly and the light is on. When I disconnect the cable from the satellite the time goes to 12:00. So I assume that my receiver is getting signals from the dish but not the picture and sound including ch.101. Can someone advise me . Thanks in advance.
Thanks every one for our input. Finally I figured out the problem!!!!!!!and it was the Diseq Switch. I changed the switch and the signal and quality went up and could get picture and sound. The Diseq switch was about six years old and was getting corroded. thanks any way!!!!!!!!!!!
