Hi all,

I don't know much about satellites or how to set them up. Recently, I tried to upload a new file to my nfusion solaris, and it went nuts. So I changed it back to Factory Default. Everything's been wiped clean, including the User Settings, Antenna Settings, and etc. I live in Ottawa, Canada, I have two dishes, my LNB Types are Standard as I understand it (I have two LNBs on one of the dishes though, don't know if it makes a difference). So the dishes are pointed right and everything, now I'm wondering if anyone could tell me the Antenna Settings, User Setting, and etc I need to enter to get my channels back. Also, I read that nfusion is down anyways, so I might get my friend's Viewsat Ultra, so it would also help a lot if you could tell me the settings I should use for that just in case. I tried to enter some things i read in threads and stuff, nothing works. Even though I get some good S&Q still when I scan for channels none work.
Any help will be very much appreciated!

97w and 61.5, and those are the two I get pretty good signals on. It's just that channels that scan don't work at all, or I might be doing something wrong.

this is what i've been entering:

Satellite..............97w GALAXY25
LNB Power .............ON
LNB Type............Standard
LNB Freq...............10750
22KHz..................OFF
TP Freq................12122
DiESqC 1.0.............Port 2
DiESqC 1.1.............Disable
Switch......................Disable
Motor..................OFF

or for 61.5

Satellite..............61.5 ECHO 3 & RAIN
LNB Power .............ON
LNB Type............Standard
LNB Freq...............11250
22KHz..................OFF
TP Freq................12122
DiESqC 1.0.............Port 1
DiESqC 1.1.............Disable
Switch......................Disable
Motor..................OFF

i think i am wrong with the TP Freq and Switch

For 97W put your LNB Type to Universal then perform a channel scanning, if it not work try Port 1!

Nothing to get on 61.5W

Try Lock TP: 11936H 20000

Do you have a linear LNB to get this satellite?

I have no idea what linear LNB is. I've got two dishes one with one LNB and the other has two LNBs attached. And i guess somewhere there is a switch connecting all together.

Your Receiver Setting for Galaxy 19 at 97.0°W
seem to be OK. Try this, point your largest dish
to Galaxy 19, the dish from your location must be
at lest 33" a 36" would be better with a Linear LNB
From your location Ottawa, Canada use these settings
Upload

Yes, they've worked until I tried to upload a new bin on nfusion. Right now I am not at home, but I will follow every step and post the results. So I guess I just should leave it at factory default then? Thanks a lot for your help guys!

So I did everything you guys told me. I got really Strong signals Lock TP 11936 h 20000, but after the scan just as before, the channels don't work. Black screen, it does say "Service not available i-ON / n-ON / p-OFF / Emul-OFF / SUNS Connected" No idea what that means. And the scan only gave me about 60 channels.

There is more than 250 channels on 97W!

Do a hard reboot with the back panel switch!
