Changes Going Forward Abadss Family, I wanted to take a few moments to discuss some issues and changes that are coming with the site and industry.
As you all may or may not know, some people utilize FTA or Free to Air technology in ways that Satellite Television Providers view as illegal and consider harmful to their business. As a result, the environment for supporting 3rd party firmware and files has become very hostile and may cause legal issues for the site if we allow members to upload or download these files. While we don't consider our current setup to be in any way illegal, we are taking a very conservative view of what is allowed and what is not.
Going forward, we will no longer support uploading or downloading 3rd party firmware on this site. This is effective immediately.
This has not been a spur of the moment decision, it something we have been considering for several months. While we know it is a major change, but we feel that it is essential for the long term stability of the site. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding through this transition.
