Some interesting goodies on Hispasat Joca.

Hispasat offers unscrambled Cuban channels. Great to watch movies and series. Original films subtitled in Spanish. But 90% of time, English movies. Many movies also in French. Most of movies pirated from video rental outlets. So expect latest DVD movies. Cuban TV also presents tons of baseball games.

Spain got scrambled last year but remains the Basque channel ETB (In plain Spanish), TV Galicia (galician dialect) and the TV3 Catalan channel. The Canarias Islands have one channel in plain Spanish.

In the Arab bouquet, look for KTV2 which is plain English from BBC almost 24h a day (subtitled in arabic). KTV Sport is arabic but shows sport events around the world.

PRESS TV is the Iranian English News Channels. Different viewpoint indeed.

TV Marti is the US Information Agency propaganda channel (Voice of America) for cubans. Completely Spanish.

A new bouquet has shown up. Perviy kanal USA. About 15 Thai channels. All unscrambled.

I am from Eastern Canada, using a 4 foot dish for Hispasat reception. Signal is solid at 47north 71west
