The Hub or dongle gets its IP address from the router. This is commonly know as a local IP address given by DCHP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). Many routers will remembr this IP address and will continue to give this address to the dongle and the dongle has already remembered another address. You should attempt to remove the address given to it previously by unplugging it completely. If you get into the menu you could look up the address and try and remove it, whilst keeping the ethernet cable unplugged. Next you could look at your router firmware and see where it has stored the DCHP it gave to differnt computers and devices. Remove any IP address gicen to the dongle. Keep the router ability to issued DCHP active. Plug back everything and the router will issue a new address.
