It is to be expected. The technology dictates that as soon as there is a moderate load (number of users active) there will be freezing. Expect significant improvements in this area with upcoming IKS2 and better use of servers and UDP.
Most probable next scenario will be what's already happening South of the Border and in parts of Greater LA area : The use of a universal dongle and private IKS servers....
With this dongle, all the "old clunkers" are up and running.... ( Captiveworks 600, 700 Y 800, Viewsat.Ultra, Ultra-Lite, MXHD, 900HD, Coolsat 4000, 5000, 6000, etc. )
The universal router-dongle is sold for $25 bucks and private servers charge $10 - $20 bucks per month. Not cheap, but better than a black screen.....
