Don't know, this format is quite un predictable.
though WI wickets will be slow and low bounce and favour spinners and big hitters who can hit spinners easily.

I assume Pakistan, India and SL have good chance.

Australian's have improved a lot in this format of game , they will do better than last time but cannot win.

Well all the patterns are pointing to Sri Lanka

WC 2003 Final in Johannesburg India Lost
T20 Wc 2007 final in Johannesburg India won

WC 1999 Final in Lords Pak Lost
T20 WC 2009 Final in Lords Pak Won

WC 2007 final in Barbados SL lost
T20 WC 2010 Finals is in Barbados

Also the the team that came runners up last tournament won the next tournament and SL was the runner up last tournament

I think AUS have a good chance for this tourney i feel in the last year they have gotten used to T20 and with players like Watson, Warner, White and Tait they have a great chance

With all due respect... T-20 Cricket just doesn't do it for me...
(I'd rather watch baseball instead)...

Test Matches & ODI's are incredible... but to jam it all into 20 overs takes all the strategy out of the game... It's just a matter of blasting boundaries or 6's out of the park...

Let's here it for England!!!...
(((CHEER)))...

england can never wins...although they have so much potential..
lets talk about 2nd day matches....
first match ind vs afghanistan.
2nd match pak vs bangladesh..

i have feeling that one of stronger team will loose their match
lets talk about pak vs bangladesh.. its gonna be thriller..
bangladesh have got such a talented batsman and slow bowlers..
first match for pakistan would decide everything for rest of series..

on the other side ind vs afghanistan...we don't know much about afghanistan team..as i haven't seen afghanistan play in any international matches..
but think about this way there is one afridi in pak team and the whole world know the (pathan).power....india have to face 11 pathans...
lol................................

so the question which one do u guys think will create more controversy... 1) india loosing to afghanistan
2) or pak loosing to bangladesh..
can't wait..
where are u devin bro? no comments from you so far..

After all these years Pak team have not played enough cricket in different formats and Pathan power looks like useless maybe one or 11 pathans do not make much difference for India let us see if they could pull some miracle, Or there will be a champ from Sri Lanka, Australia, South Africa and India

jitu they didn't play any cricket last year too... but they came as champions..
so its not about how much cricket you play.. they did lots of practice in last month..although i know they are not favorites..
and i agree that srilanka, southeafrica and india have way better chances to win...
where are u devin?

Australia suffer shock loss to Zimbabwe in World Twenty20 warm-up

April 28, 2010

Australia have suffered a shock loss to Zimbabwe by one run in their opening World Twenty20 warm-up match in St Lucia.

Zimbabwe batted first and scored 7-173 before restricting Australia to 7-172 from their 20 overs.

Opener David Warner top-scored for Australia with a hard-hitting 72 and skipper Michael Clarke is believed to have made 49 although officials scores have not been made available.

Warner's 49-ball innings included four fours and five sixes.

Australia got the wobbles in the last few overs with Brad Haddin and Steve Smith both run out.

With 13 needed from the final over, Australia lost Clarke bowled from the penultimate delivery and then Mitchell Johnson was run out off a wide before Brett Lee ran a leg bye from the last ball.

Earlier, Elton Chigumbura hit a crowd-pleasing 76 from just 35 balls with five fours and six sixes, sharing a 114-run partnership with Craig Ervine (39) for the fifth wicket.

Australia's Johnson claimed 4-23 from his four overs while Dirk Nannes, Lee and Shane Watson took one wicket each.

Christian (0-29 off two overs) and Watson (1-34 from two overs) proved expensive, Australia resting key paceman Shaun Tait and aggressive batsman Cameron White.

Lee's 1-13 from four overs included several slower balls which worked well on the docile pitch.

SL and SA are equally good on the scale . I think it must be very disappointing for SL to loose with this margin.
