I'am an Old western movie buff, and I have several VHS tapes of them. My question to all videophiles is do I save them to DVD or keep them as is. My concern is tape deterriorates and I want to keep them. Please be gentle with your responses as I sure my question is very simple.

look the movie up, see if it is avalable on dvd. if so,don't wased your time. the dvd will be much better. if you have movies not avalable on dvd. it might be a good idea. they may never be released .but be ready to spend alot of time on this.
