Yes you can get this satellite with a 36'', but buy a good C-Band LNB.

This one is good but you will need to fit it on your actual bracket:

Elmo, don't waste your money and time.
Because of the low power of C- band signals a 36" dish
is not large enough to pickup any C-band channels.

Plymouth, Your answer was based on Lyngsat map.

My answer was based on knowledge and experience.

So let Elmo, check it out on other sites before
he waste his money and time.
Besides those TV stations that are now listed
on Anik F3 at 118.8°W were sold in October of this year
and were first listed at Lyngsat in November of this year.
and may not even be activated as of now.

Ok Desert, if you think that not work!

I don't have a C-Band LNB to check it.

Thanks for your answer!

Desert Fox is absolutely correct.

At one time, you used to be able to get a lot of the stronger c-band transponders with a 6 foot dish and a good lnb. That was when the sats were spaced at 3 degrees. That all changed when the fcc changed the spacing of satellites to 2 degrees. It rendered the 6 foot dish next to useless and obsolete. It would pick up too much interference from adjacent satellites.

So, in essence, if you can't get anything on c-band using a 6 foot dish, you sure aren't going to get reception with a 3 foot dish. I suppose there is a remote possibility if a specific transponder has an extremely high power output, you purchase a high quality c-band lnb and there are no adjacent sats causing interference, you might, just might, be able to get what you're looking for with a 6 foot dish if you have it aligned perfectly. It would most assuredly have some sparklies in the picture.....

Have you tried 11900 AMC 5 @ 79 degrees for Telemundo? I believe it's still there but don't know for sure....

If what you say is true (and I don't doubt it), why would they mess things up by allowing 2 degree separation? If even a 6' dish can't get it, it seems you need milspec dishes and LNBs to make use og these!!
