C/P from currentbins. This is the latest in current status of Sonicview ihub, and the troubles are far from over.

"A New Week Begins for Sonicview iHub
New files were again released over the weekend for the Sonicview 360 Elite and Premier and early Monday morning for the HD 8000 model. With each code revision comes more changes, but not all of them for the better. We have watched yet again a steady decline in the number of available channels with most notably the loss of radio stations and now most International programming. We suspect there is a plan to bring back these channels and handle the new onset of additional freezing.

Several days ago, the iHub team suprised many by actually working on a U.S. located server, which could have landed the team in quite a heap of legal trouble. Thankfully, DNS and file changes dropped the U.S. based system and added several additional servers located in the Netherlands. Most users with malfunctioning dead or bricked iHubs are now back in action thanks to the hard work and research from some of the more experienced testers in the community. If you are still having trouble with your Sonicview iHub, our FTA Forums and Live FTA Chat put you in touch with motivated volunteers that can help revive your non-working iHub and get you up on the latest solution.

With a reduction in channels and reintroduction of Freezing, the work for the iHub team is far from over. We are hoping and expecting additional work to come out of this group in the days ahead and look forward to some longer term stability for the Sonicview iHub solution. There is no doubt that the last week has proven this solution is not dead as many have suspected. "

BAZUKA: I watched that video, and I had some experience recently with khub (kbox). Basically, the programmers that are doing the IKS work are very poorly trained in working with Network software and settings and causing a lot of unnecessary headaches for the users.
