I have a Toshiba DLP - 62HM15. I bought it about 4 years ago and it's having problems.
I replaced the lamp about 9 months ago, and then 2 weeks ago, the lamp stopped working again. Thinking it was a bad lamp, I ordered a new one. Well, the replacement came and it didn't work. I contacted Toshiba and they sent me another one. Still didn't work. So it's probably not the lamp at this point, although it's showing the same symptoms (blinking green light, solid red light, trying to start the lamp 8 times before giving up)
I should add that the TV does make a power-surge sound when it is turned on. The picture just never shows up on the TV, so I don't know if that means that the ballast is ok or if perhaps it needs to be replaced.
Anyone have similar experiences and have you been able to fix it?
