I must say that the Dish receiver has much better sound than the Direct rcvr it replaced. I put on music when working around the house, this having replaced both the FM radio and some CD playing, though for 'critical' listening, CD is still the only way to go. Picture quality, in SD is improved, probably because I went from the 'S' connection (!) all the way to HDMI. It is officially boggling in HD.
hey some of the dave box's have some good size hard drives in them you can use in a pc i pulled three from some box's and reformated them and wala you have your self about a 60 g to 80 g hard drive for windows
