That's because quality distribution over TPs is not uniform. The TP on 118 that has lowest quality for me is the one that has star plus on it, around 56%. Other ones have quality around 60-80%. |

So when i start scanning by putting these setting its just start scanning and stop in few seconds. because for me the quality has to be good to do scanning and get certain channels. True, not only for you, but for everyone Could you plz tell me on these channels what is your quality and level? Sorry I don't do any IKS maybe someone near your location can answer that. On these two TPs if the above don't work try this---delete all the channels on 12002 then do a TP scan only on tp 12002 and then do one TP scan only on 12033 |

If your receiver allows a "Blind Scan" do a blind scan with a setting like this: LNB type Universal 2 LNB freq 9750-10750 |

New member Username: Kashif786Post Number: 10 Registered: Dec-08 | I tried every thing you guys said, i am not getting any channels on certain TP's where the signal is in red and around 20%, so channels like starplus, zee, sony, b4u, are missing on the other hand i am watching imagine, geo, geo news, ary, ary news, aag, zee cinema, b4u music. 1)should i realign the dish? the quality is around 75%. 2)The 119 my quality is 97%.and getting all of the channels. 3)If i moved the dish at this point there are chances i will lose some of the channels i am watching on 118 and 119. Seeking expert advice at this point. Thanks in advance |

Gold Member Username: Saqeeb9000Post Number: 6073 Registered: Oct-07 | kashif there are no advance setting.. i mean for star plus... or zee cinema.. its all about level and quality... i do infact some times miss some channels once there is high wind / etc.. and slight dish move help me to get the channels back... so just tweak ur dish little bit... what kind of level and quality u get on 118.8 west, what i mean is when u go to menu dish 118.8 west what do u get for level and quality , if u have above 65 % chances are u will get all the channels... there is also other option in kbox under setting , it turns on beep , so u can adjust the dish this way u don't have to watch the tv, and go back to roof , u can just listen to tune and when u will have good signals it will have fine tune, so u know that signals are good, 33 inch dish is just fine... just tweak it up little bit and u will get the channels that u are missing. |
