Unlike standalone boxes, you don't need a new bin when new channels are added. Generally the new bin is if there's a new feature added or what have you. It's one of the benefits of IKS system. Right now they have a feature like nfusion that you can download the bin from their server, but it's not implemented, so you still need to get a new bin.
If you have the loader on your computer, you can use that to check if there's a new bin. This is how kbox told everybody they were going to have UFC 101 last time, so eitherway you should get the loader if you want to get messages.
The last release for kbox prodigy was on 06-26-2009, so you can see why people call IKS the boxes that fix themselves. Most of the work is done on the server side.
