I have a free to air satellite receiver with two video outputs. One is RF/coaxial and the other is composite. The way my system is set up, I need to feed the satellite to two different devices that only have composite inputs. So I need to convert the coaxial output to composite. I know that some of the new digital converter boxes take a coaxial input and outputs composite video. The boxes can be programmed so that the RF signal can be passed through so that the digital to analog converter is bypassed. I was wondering if I used that pass-through mode could I convert the RF signal to composite?

Many new TV or DVD Recorder is out with composite output, you can put your receiver out in the TV or DVD Recorder and use the output for hook the second hardware.

You can try to use splitter but you can lose brigthness.
