i was wondering if i can hook up a tv without outputs only inputs to a surround sound receiver when receiving a/v from coax line only?

i have the vip722 dual tuner from DishNetwork hooked up to 2 rooms. room 1 is in the house with the box. Room2 is the garage with just the coax running to the tv for audio and video. running wires from the box out to the tv is out of the question.

is there a way that i can get surround sound from just the setup that i have?

I was wrong in my first post. What you need is a tuner that has A/V outputs. You can use an old VCR. Take your coax signal to the VCR. Then use the RF output to the TV and the RCA output to the surround system.
Sorry for wasting your time.
