What do you think brother?
Are the IKS boxes getting the TRUE N3 Encrypted channels on DN? Or are they getting N2 that normal STB's have lost?
I am willing to wait for a fix that is proven. But I have my friends that I have hooked up and they are asking me to get them SV. I just don't what to tell them at this point in time. Welcome your thoughts.

Telefonica still on N2 but we need a different bin for get it as for Bev and Dn last year.

IKS box can get N3 encrypted on dn, the N2 Dn channels lose by many ppl doesn't have the info which when you do a scan, you get it , that's why we need to put the PID number manualy.

PID: Packet Identifier

v4697 mean Video adress: 4697
a4698 mean Audio adress: 4698
p4697 mean Packet Identifier 4697(channel info, channel number, name etc.)

This is the last one that we need for lock the channel with a scan.

When I do a blind scan on Free to Air Satellite, sometime the channel provide the last info p4697 and sometime this info is gone, with the new improve from viewsat now I can save my channels list on the USB keys and still keep all my channels if I delete something by error.

I hope you understand.

I-Hub is a box for hook your receiver on Ethernet on a rooter by RS-232 on back of your receiver, that's what we call IKS.

I wonder what is cheaper, hunt you by the IP you are using to get channels or spot the funny dishes on your roof (-:

Hunt you by your IP. Cheaper and simpler. And the IP originating address is their proof of IKS participation and your guilt.

You are allowed to have as many dishes you want on your roof. I have 4 and all of them are used to control the signal strength and quality of satellite transponders. None are used for pirating. I don't even have to admit to listening to FTA channels. None of their business.

I have never read or new of any user being procecuted by using IKS. I've read about stores being closed and fined, but not users. (-:
