Sada

You talk about Uninterruptible Power Supply or APC

Do a search on google or yahoo and you will find it easily.

I do not agree sada. A UPS is related to satellite. Matter of fact, it is a good idea to have one around as it does start automatically at the slightest power glitch in a matter of milliseconds and protects your equipment(s). Very practical to save PC's and expensive TV's during thunderstorms.

Look at APC for those. They use common sealed lead acid batteries available everywhere. They are also the most reputable. The Back-UPS series.

Note the older APC series (in the steel boxes) are often available as second hands units. Just need to replace the battery inside.

A good reputable battery store will recycle the old battery by the way.

thanks outerlimit but most ups are 120 v back home power is 240 v . i called few companies and they said first of all they will not shipped outside of us because they have acid in it + i can't carry them with me on plane, and they are like 100lb weight, lol
so i will see if i can find something like "solar power"

Sada,
You are better off getting it back home, first there will be some warrenty and secondly in case something goes wrong you can always get it fixed. All the best.
Moreover its not worth getting it from North America, try online you may be able to ship it from the gulf states where the power is 220 to 240
