I have a Viewsat 9000HD and Ultra.

When do a blind scan or autoscan on the Ultra I get a total 132 channels and cannot get Sun TV at 610 or KTV at 667.

What should I do to get these two channels? How many channels in total should I get on 148

Thanks

C/P from Nalin. Thanks goes to Nalin

You go into Manu/Installation and then into advanced scan.
Right/left scroll to th eTP you want. If it is not there (plus or minus 3 is OK) enter a new TP and make sure you have H or V properly entered or selected.
Try both ways - without entering channel name and entering the chanell name.
Change auto to manual and you will be able to enter three values. The third value is usually the same as the first.
If the channel is found it comes in as CH-1.
If you found it, you will have to exit installation, and go into Channel edit. Find the nely obtained channel - either the last on the list or do an alphabetic sort and find it under "C".
You must rename it before you go to find another channel. Rename click is at the bottom in channel edit menu.
Then repeat procedure with th next one you want.
Sun tv TP12370, VPID:5154, A pid:5155, pcrpid: 5154 -- ktv-tp 12574, vpid 6946, apid 6947, pcr pid 6946
BOTH CHNLS. WORKS WELL.ENJOY

How put the PID manualy on Viewsat:

Go in Channel Scan then enter in Edit Tp, select Tp 12326 and press F4 Add User channel put the 3 PID number then press OK, do it for both channel and Exit and save.
Search for channels named 00001 UserChan- and 00002 UserChan-.

You must rename those channels in Channel Organization.
