Bronze Member Username: Maharaja6000SurreyCanada Post Number: 21 Registered: Nov-06 | i have just set the dish on echostar7,119. with LNB frequency as 11250 and i get all the english channels but i can not get indian channels like sab and juss punjabi. my friends are having the indian channels with LNB fr.as10750 but when i change frequency to 10750,signal becomes zero i am in vancouver pl tell me what should i do |

Silver Member Username: JoeturnPost Number: 445 Registered: Apr-06 | If your friends are getting such?Then blindscan with your new setting(ignoring the zero qualityl) probably due to an inactive transponder and see if the signal comes back after the scan.. If it wont scan(0 Transponders Founded) then your settings were wrong! This is a cut and paste off one of Plymouth's many post. |

Try 9/13 set to standard 10750 and "blindscan"not reg scan, even if you have no quality! Then report back with your findings.I'm sure your friends have the same lnb and dish as you. Dont listen to Plymouth he fell prey to the inviacom scam and cant get many programs like you and I can with our original equiptment. |

Yes just go to antenna set up select echostar 9/13 and be sure it says lnb type standard at 10750. Then exit out ,saving any changes,till you get to the blind scan feature now select scan all.. After getting what you want you might have too many duplicate channels rather than to delete them one at a time I choose to delete all and rescan each sat using the blind scan feature!! Have fun testing! |
