How To:

Insert USB in receiver

for saving channel list:
press MENU > SYSTEM INFORMATION > RECEIVER UPGRADE > Channel > Select device > USB > Start Transfer

for saving Satellite list:
press MENU > SYSTEM INFORMATION > RECEIVER UPGRADE > Satellite > Select device > USB > Start Transfer

same procedure for Key Data

this process is meant to keep a copy of your Chaninfo & Satinfo as a backup... and now u can import those files to Channel Master for editing

Chan info file can be loaded back to receiver if u did a factory default... it restores your channel lineup and Favorites that u have programmed.

Good post Chumley

But you don't need Channel Master but new Ultra loader with channel Editor avilable at viewsatusa.com

The thing is: I can send you my file if you are not able to get a channel or this channel is hidden.

Yes Bernard, but Channels Master doesn't work very good with Viewsat and the only way for saving the channels was with RS-232, now it work on USB port.
