I goofed and went into the service menu, I may have changed an option, but im not sure.. I have a LN46A650A1FXZA manufactured in January, in the service menu under OPTION BYTE - PANEL -- I may have changed the PANEL setting but im not sure, can someone tell me what the default option should be ? Anyone help I would be grateful..... Thanks
If whoever works on the TV can even tell and if they care.
I had 2 different techs from 2 different shops work on a TV that I had changed MANY settings in the SM, neither one knew. I doubt they would have cared if they did know, as long as I didn't tell them. They get paid to work on the TV, no repairs means no money.
Some TVs they can tell when someone has been in the SM and some they can't.
IF you send it back to the manufacturer...then they will have a greater possibility of discovering that the SM has been accessed by the consumer, but if not, then obviously someone less trained with a Samsung might not know...or care obviously.
either way. this person hasn't replied back, so i am sure they moved onto a busier forum with more helpful answers.
