Can I get Galaxy 18 (123W), 16 (99W), 3C (95W), 17 (91W) on one dish in a fixed position with an adjustable LNB mounting bar? Or is the 123w Bird too far away to get from the others?
I have 2 dishes with motor, a 33" and a 18" and I get over 25 satellites.
You can get all these satellites and much more with a motorized system.
You can't use a multi bracket as for a Circular dish which is need a 18" dish, you can buy a Invacom Universal Circular/Linear LNB and get both signal, but the aiming for this antenna is very difficult and need to be made by a person experienced.
Ok, thanks. I have a motorized system, but would rather have a fixed dish to feed multiple sets from one dish through switches and multiple LNB's. I use Invacoms.
Plymouth Yo can get 4 degrees apart with a 90CM dish very easy [link removed]
Jake 91 with any sat on a 30" dish is no problem But using a 90 CM dish is the way to go 75CM=30" 90CM=36" 1M=40"
Look into this multi LNB Bracket Available on e-bay by MX-Mart
Also SatelliteAV in California sell special LNBs and brackets [link removed]
Let me tell yo This is a very challenging installation But very doable on a 90CM to an expert installer If yo were to try it start with 2 LNBs then add one LNB at a time
Just for curiosity What are yo getting on 99W? I'm guessing CCTV on 95W is what yor looking for What state do yo live in?
Jake you can't get all satellites you listed,"""Galaxy 18 (123W), 16 (99W), 3C (95W), 17 (91W)"""
OK for 99, 95 and 91 but too far for get all Tp on 123W(possible if you live in Californy). The problem is when you move away from the dish center, you lose the focus point and lose much signal.
Plymouth I get 123W with a 20" dish in NY area http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/galaxy18_ku.html
Jake Plymouth and I asked yo where yo live? The bracket yo bought and what I posted are 2 different things I'm very familiar with the one that holds 6 LNBs It's not the same
I need to know what are yo trying to get with 99W and what state do yo live in? If yo still want my advice
Plymouth I am successful in importing channel file into Channel Master saved originally on USB from SV8kHD.
Now that I have 118.8 bird strange thing is that all the PIDs etc for international channels are showing correct in that file in the channel master. For example GEONW SID 902, TP=11806 all PIDs are correctly showing as 4642 and 4643 for that bird. So whats the use of creating / adding a dummy channel with these PIDs when the PIDs are already correct in the original channel althugh they are scrambled.
Donno what to do. Guidance is appreciated. Please note that I am not pointing at 61.5. I am pointing at 118.8. Thanks
Plymouth Those channels are also available on 118.8 however with different VIDs and PIDS. All the international channels and even more are also available on 118.8
It seems on 61.5 you are asking people to manually input the PIDs and creat dummy channels for them...however why it cant be done to 118.8 channels...because when i open the file in the channel master their PIDs are already correct.
The pid numbers have nothing to do with the encryption, The PID is a adress on compressing signal from a transponder for be able to put many channels video audio and data in same signal.
Why the dummy channels work with manualy entering on 61.5W and not with a scan, because the data info on channel is not there and the scan can't found this channels, it is ghost channels. Many channel not encrypted are on Feed channels for Local TV from the national provider like FOX.
