how do i set up 118.. dish has 1 lnb for 118/119 and a 110 separate .. i set 110 for osc-dp on port 2 and 119 on port 1 as though it is a DP dual lnb.. how do i set up 118??????? Thanks to you all as always.. LOU
I am having problems setting up my viewsat ultra v2 to a dish 500. I am using a dish plus lnb and has 119, 110 and uhf ports on lnb, My question is i live in los banos , ca and we only use one cable to pick up both sat's aimed at 110 with the cable hooked up on the 110 west side of the lnb and ran direct to receiver. k iam having problems picking up the east channels and i have been trying for the past 3 days. tried moving dish to different positions on my house still no luck. pick up strong signal in the 99 and 100 for quality and 78 to 80 for the signal. But still when i do auto sat scan i am only getting the west channels and no east like ppv and some premiums. My setings in atennae setup are echo star 10,11 110.0w lnb power - on lnb type- ocs-dp lnb freq- 11250 22khz- off tp freq- 12224 diseqc 1.0- port 2 motor- off legacy sw- none
echostar 7 lnb freq-on lnb type- ocs-dp lnb freq- 11250 22khz-off tp freq- 12224 diseqc 1.o - port 1 motor= off legacy sw- none these are the settings i am using am i doing something wrong or is there something i need to do different to get all my channels to come in?
Things to try. Find your dish position using dishpointer com Make sure the Skew is correct for your location. Move the cable to the 119 side of the LNB. Try setting your LNB type to Standard.
You should see the Satellite ID at the top of the screen. When scanning Echo 7 set TP freq to 12239
