Make sure polarity is right either Vertical or Horizontal...Before scanning also make sure that good Signal level and Quality is there. Platinum Member Username: NydasPost Number: 14641 Registered: Jun-06 | On a CW800s, I loaded a scan of 61.5W (Echo 3). The Pakistani channels mentioned above come in fine. If I take a fresh scan today of the same Dish, I am not getting them, even after making the VID/PID changes mentioned by mk above. The fact that Imrankhan gets them on a all scan is because he is scanning on top of the old scan - no new channels come in ad the old scan is active. I tested it on a CS800S, and a fresh scan of Echo 3 on tope of the existing working scan, does not erase or change anything that is already active. I tried looking for the same channels on Anik F3 at 118.7, in some of my old saved scans but did not succeed. On 2500/FLU conversions you might have saved the channle list under channel master, in which case you should try to activate these channels by bringing in an old list and then let the new keys rolls in. Best of luck. |

This is for people who have viewsat ultra not tested on other models, if even after doing a manual tp scan if your not getting the channels just load this file on usb and read through the receiver and open the file just like we flash the box, it will restart it self and then do manual tp settings again and all the channels will be back you would need to rename the channels through channel edit option in the menu good luck follow plymouth post for setting details |

Make sure you press OK after changing the VID, AUD and PCR. If the special scan is succesful, you will see a channel name CH-1. Once you know its name, go into Menu/Channel edit. I usually recommend doing a Alphabet sort at this stage, so you know where CH-1 is. Go there and use the rename facility to change the name to what you want to call it. If you have your favourites marked 9recommended) make sure you mark it with the appropriate favourite haeding. |
