What is the different between buffered JTAG cable and the unbuffered JTAG cable? Anybody please.

An unbuffered jtag connects directly, or through 100 ohm resistors, to the parallel port of the PC, a lot of people have success with them.

A buffered jtag uses a 74HC244 buffer chip to isolate the PC from the receiver, and is normally much more reliable, and safer to use.

Use bufferred cable if you are buying or making a new one.
