Friend has the 3500. His sd card must have gone bad because it was crapping out halfway through installation of new bin. He's been using that card for a while. Tried deleting file and re-copying to the card with same result. Another card with same bin worked though. Thanks for the response Steve M.
And the problem is he's a noob, so he didn't notice that it was crapping out on the installation of the new bin. So the old bin was still on his pansat and he was saying the new one was freezing. lol
