We have had ATT Uverse for over a year now.The quality is better than cable. Download speeds for internet access is better than cable because it's a set speed... cable access degrades with # of users online. Uverse tech support very friendly, and helpful. DVR service is great and not an extra cost as is with cable. Sorry this is not exact reply since your are asking relative to dish etc... can only compare to cable myself..
