Platinum Member Username: NydasPost Number: 13791 Registered: Jun-06 | Tito: 1. First of all decide whether you have a Pansat 2700 or a Fortec star receiver. These are two different receivers. 2. If it is Fortec Star, is it Fortec Star Ultra? 3. Keys are generally not required nowadays. You probably need a new BIN. 4. If you are not sure what you have, go into Menu/System, and post EXACTLY what you see. |

Gold Member Username: DimwittPost Number: 1051 Registered: Aug-06 | Your fortec was using pansat 2500 clone bins-284T, now it has to converted to use 'Puff bins' The instructions are here https://www.ecoustics.com/cgi-bin/bbs/show.pl?tpc=2&post=1492450#POST1492450 and look in full kit 300 puff BTW - I don't have that receiver , just passing along a little info. |

Things have changed a bit, and I suggest you download a full PUFF kit from one of the following URLs and after unzipping in a speparate directory, read the Instuctions.doc and print it out. Follow the instructions explicitly and you will be up and running. PUFF_300 for FLU/2500 Conversion to 2700 Full kits for Latest conversion BINs and other files - also for Revert to 2500 Remove Channel list before installing [link removed] Download and unzip into separate directory.
