all was fine till saturday. 30" with 110 on standard 11250 lnb port 2, 119 and 118 on linear circ lnb with standard 10750 lnb port 1, 61 also standard 11250 on port 3. Even after heavy wind all channels working fine. sunday no channels. went up and checked dish. no misalignment. screws were so tight as i tried moving left or right cannot move dish. suspected if brackets might've loosen so checked that also and tweaked.
did fact default, v143 bin and then 25th fix for ultra. 61 was ok on port 3. but whatever it is..cannot lock 110 119 118 at all. same port settings etc as i used to have.
i tried 110 with start tp 12224 or any other top..signal 60 quality 0. without locking cannot scan channels. 119 118 signal 55 quality 0.
im pretty sure dish is not misaligned as i cannnot move now as it is as screws are so tight. any kind of bracket tweaking doesnt help.
previously i can easily setup 110 119 within few minutes as i have marked the position in wall.
Go in Menu System information Code Menu Select Nagra Down arrow then select 00 01 00,01 01 00 and 01 06 00 and delete those 3 dish provider with "F3" on remote and load latest bin file, save and exit, wait that the autoroll found keys and all Tp come back
Plymouth I tried deleting those provider from code menu. no luck still. anything else should be the problem. two weird things 1) 61.5 on 18" dish is locked and get sig 70 quality 65 . two indian channels come with tag as LTD7 LTD8 in 12603. when i select them in guide the info pops up with quality 60 but screen is black. doesnt say autoroll , no video etc. simply black screen with quality 60
2) 110 doesnt matter if i try to lock in antenna setup the first default tp 12224 or go to channel menu to try with other tps..all of em quality 0 im sure the dish is not misaligned for the reason after heavy winds same day evening on saturday everything was ok. sunday everything was searching signal. then i tried all steps now all quality 0 . dish is not movable at all as screws are so tight (one of the reason im sure wind has not changed the position). just to make sure i tweaked the bracket which is around the 110 neck in 30" dish to try get 119 or 118..no luck they also come as quality 0
my first assumption was mialignment but dont want to go out untight all those screws and start changing dish position in winter cold . even if slight misalignment i expect atleast 1 tp to blink or jump with quality in atleast one of 110 119 118. but all showing 0 quality even after tweaking rotating the bracket where lnb is fixed
any ideas.
have browsed and saw some of em raising the same issue with quality 0
other thing i found is for 119 118 the signal is 55 . normally even if dish is not aligned i normally get 60
Do a factory default, load V0143 and use 12/22/2008 bin then do a autoscan on one satellite at time. The 25th is out without any reason, i use 22th bin without any problem so i think that is a corrupt bin.
i tried that also. 22 and on top of it 25. im able to lock 61.5 without those 2 indian channels which has quality 60 but black screen when selected in guide. unable to lock 110 118 119
im hard pressed about dish alignment. will switch be a problem as im getting signal 60 for 110 and signal 55 for 119/118
can just 1 port burn out in switch which still allows port 3 to work for 61.5
i dont want to change switch or start doing major dish alignment without any reason
what are the steps to rule out it is not switch or something wrong with receiver or latest bin.
