I have a 46HM94 Toshiba DLP TV that will not start up until after numorus retries with a brand new lamp. I have gone through 2 new lamps with the same problem, yet it starts up every time, the first time, with the original lamp. I have replaced the ballast assy and that didn't change the problem. I cannot understand why it works with a lamp that has over 5000 hours on it, but will not work consistently with new lamps. Any ideas? Should I be concerned about some kind of "break-in" period for new lamps? Thanks for your help.
