There has already been a lot of talk about the debut of Sling.com from Sling Media in the last week. Yet the wholly owned subsidiary of EchoStar on Tuesday announced the public launch of the site (sling.com). Users at the site can watch a selection of clips, TV shows, films, news and sports, including programming from more than 90 content providers spanning 150 content brands, Sling Media said --- DISH Network has upgraded to a new version of the Amdocs Logistics product. The technology is enabling DISH to improve logging and resolution of service calls related to its receivers and other customer-premise equipment, and to manage equipment repair processes more effectively, Amdocs said in a statement --- EchoStar Satellite Services, a provider of satellite space segment, backhaul, aggregation and distribution of video and audio content, said the World Teleport Association named the company to its prestigious "Global Top Twenty" and "Fast Twenty" rankings for 2008.
