Very strange. Did you delete that accidently ? I guess, you need to get back it back my friend. Use lnb fequency10750 or lower, first tp 11715 and do blind scan. I have learnt this recently.Good luck!

The name does NOT matter.
The name does NOT matter.
The name does NOT matter.
If you are pointing to the sat and have the correct settings, you do a blind scan and get it.

You WON'T see 118.7 until you point your dish towards it AND blind scan it with lnb feq 10750 first tp 11715. It will resolve the issue here.

There are three general types of LNBs that get 118 and 119.
1. The old ones before the days of 118, - the 119 LNB will pick up some 118 channels IF the Dish is 30" or larger. THIS IS NOT THE IDEAL, but I am mentioning it to be complete. With the above settings, you need to set DisEqC 1 for 118, not 4 or none.
2. The new Dish Pro plus LNBs with two outlets. You need to get the two outlets to two different ports of DisEqC switch. See the picture below.
application/mswordUpload
DP 500+.doc (47.1 k)

Notice the two separate outlets for 118 and 119? You need to connect them separately to two port od your DiseqC and use those port numbers and set your antenna settings accordingly. However, the DiseqC switch may not work properly and you many need to use a DP44 switch.
3. The generic 118/119 LNBs come with two outputs, but each of them carries both 118 and 119. So with these you need to use the same DisEqC switch port in the antenna settings for both 119 and 118 and take only one cable from the LNB to the switch. However, you have to use LNB type Standard or Universal2. This type of LNB works well with DisEqC switches.

Although the information you have posted is very good and more than most people give it is not complete in terms of the LNB types.
Please continue your efforts and hope the above information/guidelines will help.

If you use a Dp dish and LNB your settings is right, but if you use generic LNB set your LNB Type on standard.
You set 22Khz to "ON" only if you use a DP LNB.

Go in Menu, Installation, Antenna settings and choose Anik F3 then select Motor to Usals and press arrow up and enter 118.8 then down arrow and Enter, it give you the good position for Anik F3, Exit and save.

Go in Channel scan and delete with garbage can all those satellite Echo 3, Echo 7, Echo 10,11(6, 8 or 8, 10)and Anik F3 then exit and save.
Now do settings on each satellites and blind scan it one by one.

If it not work try it:

Go in Menu
System information
Code Menu
Select Nagra
Down arrow then select 00 01 00,01 01 00 and 01 06 00 and delete those 3 dish provider with "F3" on remote and load latest bin file, save and exit, wait with autoroll to "ON" than the autoroll found keys and do a autoscan on each satellites.

I followed your instructions and went to Menu, Installation, Antenna settings and choose Anik F3 then select Motor to Usals and press arrow up and enter 118.8 then down arrow and exit and save.

But in the Antenna list it is showing as Anik F3 241.2W not 118.8.

I did a blink scan did'nt work.

i did the other thing you told me to delete 00 01 00,01 01 00 and 01 06 00
still it didn't work.

I see the channels in the guide but it is doing AutoRoll Processing.... for ever.

Please help!!

Be sure than the autoroll is on and wait on a channel 5 to 10 minutes.

If it not work try it:

Do a factory default and load this Factory file:

And the satellite info:

[link removed]

And the latest bin file:

[link removed]

Now do a blind scan on 110W then do a autoscan, your receiver will be like a brand new.
