HELP!
I previously converted from Pansat 2500 to 2700 and than to Puff. I was using it for a while and today tried to load newest files, accidentally loaded wrong bin which only gives me horizontal traveling lines on display, forever. I tried turn off and back on still same.
What to do ( if anything)
Thanks

"accidentally loaded wrong bin"

Which BIN did you load?

You may get away with redoing PUFF boot installa tion and then the PUFF_299, or may have to go back one step and install b60 boot, 294T BIN, and then convert to PUFF etc.
In nay case, note down your Antenna settings, because you will end up doing the user setup and the antenna scans.
all the necessary files and instructions are in the PUFF kit above.

Nyda,
Thank you for responding, yes I think it was b60 I loaded and horizontal left-right traveling lines never ended. I am not sure if I can start loading 294T bin before traveling lines stopped, it seems I can't stop them at all, and I couldn't find case similar to mine
Thank you for your time

A. Preparation
1. Connect receiver to computer using a straight RS232 cable
2. Turn on racier and let it come to rest at ON or the last channel number
3. Save your current channel list. Note that if you had b75 boot on your receiver, Channel Master recognizes your STB as '2700 or 3500'. If you are still not converted you use pansat 2500 or FLU. However, that old a channel list would give you more problems in future.
4. If your channel list is more than 6 months old, skip all the above.
5. KEEP RECEIVER ON.

B. Loading Boot60 '" Not required if you have already installed PUFF boot.
If you have b-75 BOOT or if you are not sure what you have
YOU MUST USE this secion

1. Start 2700 to 2500 conversion software by Chancysand.
2. Select Boot in the Loader software.
3. Select Boot60 from the distributed software.
4. With the receiver ON, click on Write.
5. Wait for write to complete.
6. You will see horizontal night riders. DO NOT PANIC.
7. Close the 2700 to 2500 conversion loader and
8. Start BL Updater 1.4. Select 294T BIN. Get ready to click 'Write'
9. Turn receiver Off and On, and as soon as it starts with the horizontal bar or even before it starts with the bar start 'Write'. Wait for 'BURN' to finish and the receiver to come to 'ON' state .
10. KEEP RECEIVER ON.

C. Loading Boot/BIN PUFF '" must use the 640K PUFF BOOT/BIN combo.
a. Not required if you have already installed PUFF boot.
b. If you used Section B, you must use this section.

1. Start the BL 1.4 updater.
2. Select Chancy's or jvvh 253 boot/Bin 640K file. The file name must have the word PUFF in it.
3. With receiver showing ON, Select BIN in the Loader and start write BIN.
4. When it has loaded it will say BURN on the loader software .
5. DO NOT SWITCH OFF.
6. When BURN is completed, your receiver will reboot and sat P-U-F-F
7. Leave it on.
