Hi Everyone,
I have done this request earlier. I got replies from Nalin The chosen one , plymoth, Albino midget and all those who replied , I thank for the replies.

Here is my problem again:
I am trying to see Hindi/Indian channels and PPV(Vu) channels I have a 33'' Dish for Bell ExpView
My Settings are as follows;
Echo 8.1;
LNB Std
LNB Local Freq 11250
DisEqC 1.0#3
TP 1 12224
Positioner Disable
Sat Scan ALL

For Echo 7:
LNB Std
LNB Local Freq 11250
DiscEqC 1.0#3
Tp 91) 12225 V 20.000
Positioner Disable
Sat Scan ALL}

I have loaded bin 302, 303 , 402 and the latest 304 as well today. I did a sat scan of each on e individually for Echo 7, echo 8.1 and Anik 3. The only cahnnel I could view was MOV , which is not what I need to view. The dish has a twin LNB for 119/110W

The azimuth from sat calculator are good. The level and quality are 81% and 93% . Despite all this the channels are Scrambled.

Help me solve the puzzle if anyone can!

Thanks Plymouth and Terry,

There is no options of OCS-DP(DP) in the menu of LNB type. The only options available are Std, Universal 1 and 2 Single and Single SH. When I move from these the Quality level falls to zero.
I tried to get the signal by scrolling down the available TP's but with no result i.e., no improvement in the quality.

Terry I have Changed one of the sat's to #3 and the other to #2 as directed, the signal strength did not go too bad and now I am running a sat scan again of Anik3 to see if any success.

Thanks and please keep in touch.

If you have DP 500 + or DP 1000 + Dish AND Dishpro special LNB for 118 and 119 like this.

Connect the 119 outlet to DisEqC 1.
Connect the 110 outlet to DisEqC 2.
Connect the 118.7 outlet to DisEqC 3 or 4.

For Echo 7 (119W):
LNB Std or DSC-DP
LNB Local Freq 11250
DiscEqC 1.0#1
TP 1: 12225 V or 12239 H , SR 20000
Positioner Disable
Sat Scan ALL or Blind Scan

For Echo 8,10 or 10,11 (110W):
LNB Std or DSC-DP
LNB Local Freq 11250
DiscEqC 1.0#2
TP 1: 12224 V or 12239 H , SR 20000
Positioner Disable
Sat Scan ALL or Blind Scan

For Anik 3 or Anik 1 (118.7W): (ignore what your receiver says about Anik 1)
LNB Std or DSC-DP or Universal 2
LNB Local Freq 10750 (low 9750)
DiscEqC 1.0#3 or 4
TP 1: 11715 V ,SR 20000

Some generic LNBs designed for 118.119 will also scan using LNB freq 11250 if you do Blind scan, but the TPs that it finds will have different numbers. The advantage is that you will get all of 118 and 119 with one scan, but when I was testing, I had to scan 3 time before I got this and I do not recommend it.

OK Nalin I have the set as in the first instruction.
The problem when I set up Echo7 at DiscEqc at 1.0#1 the signal quality falls to zero and despite that I went on to adjust the position of the dish and no matter what direction the signal quality would not come up. So I went back to set up Echo 7 at 1.0#2 and got the signal back but on scanning I am back to square oneScarambled channel.

Now I ahve loaded the latest flie released on nov 20 at the fta site and will try again as you said.

Do Keep in touch please

Are you able to get Vertical and horizontal signals?
Check your channels info and reply.
If you get only Vertical, try without switch, if it not work again try a new cable.

Have you got the connections, i.e. the physical connection to switch as I have suggested?
Connect the 119 outlet to DisEqC 1.
Connect the 110 outlet to DisEqC 2.
Connect the 118.7 outlet to DisEqC 3 or 4.

If they are different, it is still OK, as long as you know whichis connected to what.
Also scan 118,7 first on a separate slate, then 119 on Echo 7 slate and then 110.

Nalin I guess i gave you the wrong info.

So here is what I have done without success so far to eliminate the confusion.

I have deleted all the channels and have set up Echo 7 on DisEqC 1.0#3 I have Level of 80% and Quality of 90%.

I am sat scanning only Echo 7

I have interrupted the Echo7 sat scan at 23% and waited to load and save. I got the following channels 71- TV71 : 84-HSTDv ; 149- CPA; 220-A-lon . All of them Scrambled or bad channel
Now I am losing hope to fix the problem. See if you guys can do something for me.

Plymouth as suggested I have done a direct connection without the switch as well. The signal level and Quality are 80% and 90%. Still the Scrambled or bad channel

I am wondeering that is the latest bin on fta-info site correct or the problem lies in the bin itself? Any suggestions!

Thanks Alton
What is the difference between the files with api_nocard and the ones ending in ...FEmu

I think I am doing something wrong in loading the bin to the receiver, here's how I do it:
I run the X05 loader and drag the file from the fta site, let the download complete flash and connect the receiver back to the TV. On turning on the receiver pansat3500, from the back normally the screen would read Wait for picture, I wait some times the percentage goes to upto 700 and then the channels will be visualized on their own, but I am unable to get the channels since the F_Emu bins are showing up on the Fta sites. Kindly guide if this is the blunder I am doing to get Scrambled Channel info ?
