Hi! I'm new to the board, so I thought I would check this out. I have a Proscan 27111, circa 1992, that just started having a problem. Picture and sound are fine. Now, after 5-10 min. it will blink briefly, go off, and then come back on. It will then do this on a shorter interval about 3 times, then stay off. If I leave it off for awhile, it will come back on OK, then of course do the same thing. Question: is there a breaker or other component in there that could be possibly overheating and then resetting? Of course now it may be due to the age of the system. This problem has not com up before, so I suspect it is the age factor that may be causing this. I can't actually see anything that looks like one, and there is no visible signs of overheating in the components. Any suggestions on tracking this down would be most helpful.
