Since I already have 110,119,echo 7 etc.....can anyone suggest a different satellite with interesting (english) channels that I can point my old Bev dish at?....viewsat extreme
chrisbear If you are in West, you can replaced your LNB for a Linear and get Galaxy 18 123.0W. note that with a 18" it can't not work, but if you buy a new, choose a 36".
Many english channels and much old series, check with Lyngsat.
One of the newest FTA orbit is AMC-21 at 125W Currently there is no foot print specs However I think a 24" dish and a linear LNB can work on either 125W or 123W
Many American channels in clear and I expect more to populate on both 123W and 125W
"I get 10 channels from Now on AMC 21 but many does not have sound."
AMC-21 is new I expect many changes to follow
To many of yo not aware that yo can get American channels on 123W using a 24" dish and a linear LNB I also expect more channels to populate on 125W also with a 24" dish and a linear LNB
hey,i need some help, looking for the full breakdown on how to hook up more than one sat per dish, dual lnb ,switch set up for viewsat ultra, ive had no luck so far.not sure what im doing wrong
AMC-21 was launched and placed at a longitude of 125° West August 14 2008.
It carries 24 J band (IEEE Ku band) transponders, which will be used to broadcast television signals to Canada the Caribbean, Mexico, and the United States. With 24 Ku TPs Iam sure they will have more channels to come and the sound fix.
I just did a Blind Scan and picked up six 6TPs, only two 2 had Tv channels, picture only no sound. TPs 12116 H & 12180 V both have the same channels. These channels are Free to Air.
The above TV Channels at AMC 21 can also be found at AMC 3 @ 87.o*W. using the same TP 12180 V plus some other FREE to AIR Channels. There are few Muslim channels there also.
White on AMC 3 after a blind scan for found new Tp and a autoscan i am able to get 25 channels, the good thing is, few channels with no sound comeback with sound.
