Hey guys...need a hand here.

Just recently I lost signal to my receiver. This happened couple of days ago but the signal came back. I moved 2 months ago did the installation myself. The wire im running from the dp34 to my receiver is about 35 feet. It would suk if my wire shorted. I know the DP34 switches are strong but is there any way I would be able to pin point the problem?

Easiest way would be to change the swtich but unfortuantly the switch is a bit far and I don't have my ladder at the moment.
The DP34 was also connected to another receiver (not available to me at the moment either).

Kinda don't have much options but would appreciate any suggestions/advice.

I have a cw600p connected with DP34. 2 dishes. Getting 110,119 and 61.5

your problem lies with the dp34 switch
it needs constant power and may work with some fta receivers.
get a chieta heavy duty switch and replace it

It was working fine without the power of second receiver. I have had it powered with 1 receiver many times and i had no issues with the signal. I will go home and put on a regular diseqc switch and hopefully that will troubleshoot this.

Thanks for the response

any more would also be appreciated
