I have a couple of FTA receivers that I use now...but I wanted to know if it's possible to connect them to my PC so I can watch TV on my PC ?

Do I need additional equipment to make this happen?

btw...what do you think about the slingbox?

It lets you watch your TV from the internet.

"""I can just run a coax to the card from my FTA and watch any channel thats on my FTA ?"".

My PVR card can work if i hook the LNB cable, but i never try it on satellite signal. I think you must have a extra program.

Surely another member can help you on it

Your link on Slingbox not work.
For me the computer is not made for listen the TV, i prefer a big screen.

Yes,run s-video and audio cables to the card - and all fta channels can be viewed thru the computer

No , you cannot watch HD fta channels -- but with additional antenna you can watch loacl HD and other digital programming.

PLYMUTT,
Some Folk have big screen TV connected to their computer

A good PVR card can be hooked directly from LNB and from your receiver with, S-Video, and simple Composite Video RCA
