Gold Member Username: PlymouthCanada Post Number: 4710 Registered: Jan-08 | Cartier Try it exactly as write Do a factory default, go in keys menu and delete all provider for Bev and Dish with F3 on remote,load an older May bin, blind scan, load latest bin and now you will recover all missing channels. If it not work, probably you are right and spot beam not work in NY The thing is, i lost signal on many Tp exactly like you here in Canada and now all Ok. |

New member Username: Myguess21Post Number: 1 Registered: Oct-08 | I tried above solution, for some reason it didn't work for me. I may be doing something wrong here. I loaded 4 diff older files, I did auto scan. I also tried Factory bin then I load older file still not working. scarry part is after loading older file I did a scan and I am geeting only those 5 channels, which I had before the try. note that I have not loaded new file yet. I check the conf option it does shows the older file name. I believe that my Viewsat lite is not taking older version over the newer version. is that correct? no blind scan option in my program. what should I do next? or am I doing anything wrong here? |

In 2 days, i lost 3 time all channels for nothing but it seems to be OK now with new factory file V0134 from Viewsatusa.com, i suggest to you load it and load latest file. If you want a total restore of your box, do it : Do a factory default Go in Keys menu and delete all Bev DN and Gc Provider with F3 on remote then load latest file rescan all satellites. Good luck |
