they are moved from 61.5 to
118.7,
they are still available on 148
so both 118.7 and 148 has those channels

Great. Thank U folks. Could you please guide further that what should be LNB frequency and Transponder setting for 118? Secondly what TPs on 118 are ZEE, SET and other indian channels. Lyng*** do not has the TP for 118. So, could you kindly guide further and list those two things?

118.7W and 119W are both listed as 119 by Lyngsat.
http://www.lyngsat*com/packages/dish119.html
TPs 1-28 for 118.7W (Anik 3) starting at 11715 (V)
and TPs 1021 for 119W (Echo 3) startig at 12224
You will need 33" Dish and a special LNB for 118/119 combo.
Look at this URL for more info on Dish and LNB

Rickypat:
The Dish and LNB combo from Transat Electronics does work.
Also look at CB2008A - it is probably more robust and has better separation between 118 and 119. There is another one by Digiwave - DGL1189s Linear/Circular LNB.

Also look at this URL - they claim to have a better LNB for 118/119

Above all, I suggest you look at US suppliers if you live in US and Canadian suppliers if you live in Canada. In US
http://www.sadoun.com/ is highly recommended by some people and there are many others.

hi,

Sorry.. I am just looking for a simple solution to hopefully use my Dish 500 with my 311 receiver.. and I hope to just change the LNB to get 118.7W.

Can someone please advise if that is possible?

Ricky Pat: You CANNOT use Dish 500 for 118.7W. You will be wasting your time trying to use it for 118.7W

"Plus Dish 500+/1000+
Same as the Dish 1000 in function but about 5" larger and can pick up the 118.75 FSS location."

A simply.. "it will not work" is sufficient
