You will need to rescan your satellite

However, you must appreciate the problem in getting 118W. You have to buy a 30-33" dish and a special LNB, and then you have to have it installed if you do not know what to do. I was recently at a party and met two persons who each spent over $200 and were still struggling to set it up properly. As of now SunTV is still available on 61.5W and is also on 118.7W However, the real advantage to anybody switching to 118.7W is additional channels. for South Indian ethnic group, instead of just SunTV and K TV, you also get Udaya, Teja, Kairala. I you have Bengali language, there are two-three Bengali channels. There is an additional channel or two in Punjabi and couple of additionals for the Pakistanis (Urdu, Panjabi), and an additional channel for Gujarati ethnic group.

ftaman890 New member Username: Ftaman890 Post Number: 2 Registered: Oct-08	Posted on Monday, October 13, 2008 - 15:18 GMT what i hear is 6160 6161 are temp channels and very soon they will be removed. you need 30" dish or dish 500+ and point to 118 sat with the special lnb for 118/119. it is important also to check skew angle for your location. if you are testing 110, then facing the dish 110 hangs in neck in center and 118/119 lnb is fit in right side of bracket(and also skewed anticlockwise 30 deg by rotating the 110 neck) As known you need to tweak 110 and 118 to get atleast 50% quality as trade off to get both

The channels were there on Echpo 3 (61.5W)as 6160 and 6161, although I have not checked today. Why don't you do a Blind Scan and get the latest. all you have to do is remove all the channels on 61.5 and do a blind scan of the sat, and you will get the current status.

Make sure you are setting the TP to Vertical not Horizontal. Also check if other verticals are working. At present there are 4-5 horizontal TPs and 3-4 vertical TPs scanned on 61.5. also a Blind scan should bring in TP 12601(V) or 12603 (V) The PUFF_294 on his receiver was a Tronics direct load using Tronics GUI loader version 1.5 I am sure the Fwank7 or Nick PUFF_294 should work equally well.

I don't know what is happening and why some people are able to scan and others are not. In any case these are temporary and in a few days time, either they will be gone from 61.5W or will have settled in some other TP. The scan on 12383(H) and/or 12411(H) shows these channels with a message from Dish saying that these have moved. because this question has been lingering, I thought I should go and personally confirm what I am saying.

I tested 119 for a year and i never got some vertical but no problem with horizontal. recently when i upgraded to bigger dish and i had to skew the lnb little bit..now..i can test almost all verticals but some horizontal drops out or ends up 0 channels.. bigger dish can help or carefully tweaking height, sideways and skew can get the required channels..this is just my personal experience

I dont have to adjust the skew with a motor. A dish with motor is very hard to aligned on Horizontal but the Vertical is always on best position, because the receiver track the best signal. note this problem seems attacked Viewsat and Pansat Thank for your reply Which receiver you have and size of dish?

Are you able to put Tp manually and scan it? Bigger dish is alway recommended for get all TPs but a good alignment can do the work for your location.

IT IS A B75 FILE. The channels K TV and SUNTV on Echo 3 are active on TP 12601(V), SR20000. Because of the wrong file, you may need to do a revert to 2500 and then reinstall PUFF boot and PUFF_294 BIN and then scan again.

I got the message "Flash Update Failed". I tried to burn Puff 294 bin through Blacklist 1.4.0 as a bin file. I got the message "Write Failed EO1". Now - My box is still working as a PUFF box without SunTV or KTV. It does not accept any Puff bins!! Please help!!!

You have to use a straight RS232 cable and when you load the b60 BIN you have to do it with the BIN selected in your loader and the receiver fully ON. Are you getting the receiver to fully "ON" position?
