- D#N is placing FSS Linear polarity channels on Galaxy*4R 77W
This is going to be additional satellite to the basic circular at 77W (Ech-st-4)
Yo can monitor action yorself with 30", linear LNB, 77W

- D#N is adding 2-way Ka at 20GHz or 30GHz at 110W or 109W (Ech-st-8)
It's unknown at this time wheather if that will be new TV service or 2 way internet like wildblue
My guess will be Internet and possibly Internet/Phone at Ka

D#N move at a very weird speed (at least to me)
Very difficult to know their future strategy and nothing make any sense to me at this time

Do not ask me
I'm not around next few days anyway

That's what I think too
But Dave out of no where converted Ka to Sayellite TV
This is why I don't take anything as a guarantee

Galaxy 4R is a Panamsat-owned communications satellite previously at an orbital location of 99° W, a slot once occupied by the Galaxy IV, which suffered a failure in 1998. G4R was launched on April 18, 2000, with an Ariane launch vehicle, and covered North America with twenty-four transponders each on the C- and Ku bands. The satellite is currently at 76.8°W, inclined.

Dish 1000 is same as super dish
1000+ is with the option of adding 118 to 110/119

Therefore 1000+ is 110/118/119 upgradable to 105 or 129

Freq spec is same for each individual satellites

Plymouth Ka is used for high speed wireless or satellite insternet... I have Xplornet

Ka-band by Telesat
The Ka-band service, powered by Telesat, is unlike other technologies because it uses a "spot beam" approach to deliver satellite broadband access. In Canada, Telesat uses 15 regional spot beams to provide national broadband coverage. The effect of using spot beams is a more concentrated signal, which results in smaller dish sizes and affordable service package pricing for the end user.

The Ka-band service provides various data transfer speeds and price points to satisfy a wide range of home or business user requirements.

Equipment

In order to receive the Ka-band service powered by Telesat, the customer must have an outdoor unit (ODU) - small satellite dish (67 cm) - affixed somewhere on the premises as well as an indoor unit (IDU) - satellite modem - which is connected to the customer's computer.
