Have you tried changing the Port #'s? I had that problem when I first started using Pansat.

Try each port.

What is the name of the file you are using? Do you have the wires connected properly?
Have you programmed a box before on this computer?

Using the 290 Puff loading it with the blacklist 1.4 updater and yes the wires are connected properly but even if you don't pluggin the wires it still shows the same error. Yes have programmed files with this computer before

I would ask my hubby(he knows more about this) but he's sleeping.

I hope you get the help you need, as I need to go to sleep. Sorry :-(

Hook the Receiver to your Computer with the Cable
Turn Receiver Power ON
Open Blacklist Updater
Click on SELECT BIN
Find the Bin file and Double click on it
Click on WRITE BIN
You will see a progress % on your Receiver and also in your Computer.
Do not touch anything until the download is completed and the Receiver reboots
After rebooting, the receiver will display a Channel #.
Turn OFF the receiver from the back.
Unhook Cable, connect it to your TV and also the Cable from dish.
Turn ON the Receiver from the Back and enjoy TV

MAKE SURE U R USING THE RIGHT CABLE. UNHOOK THE CABLE FROM BOTH PC AND BOX. TURN OFF THE PC AND THE BOX. HOOK NOW YOUR CABLE TO BOTH PC AND BOX. NOW TURN ON THE PC AND THE BOX . AND SEE IF IT WORKS . IF NOT MAKE SURE OF THE PORT SETTING . AND DO IT AGAIN . TRY TO DOEWNLOAD AGAIN THE BLK LIST UPDATER AND DO IT AGAIN . THOSE R THE ONLY OPTIONS I GUESS.
