Running RG6

I'm going to attempt the install with one other person once I get the receiver & dish.

Should I run fresh RG6 to my TV (probably need about 75 ft. or so), or could I feed off the switch that's in my attic (used to have Comcast cable with this)? I.E. - Connect the out on the Diseqc to my existing switch?

Comcast uses Quad shield RG6, which is the best..

Disconnect the Comcast switch and just run cable to your disque switch

You asked "Connect the out on the Diseqc to my existing switch?"

What dish, LNBs and switch do you have? Why would you want to use another switch after a DisEqC?

RD, let me say this to you.
The switch in your attic is not a DiSEqC switch. Cable companies use splitters.

You best bet is to run the coaxial cable from your LNB to your receiver.

Another choice, if you know what wire in your attic goes to the room
you want the TV in, install a 4x1 DiSEqc switch in the attic and connect this wire
and the LNB wire to the DiSEqC switch and watch TV.
