Hello

I have 82, 91, 110, 119 and 129.

When I scan each satellite the channels are out of order and the menu information is very limited.

I am using TP 12224 for all except for 119 which has 12239. Frequency is 11250 for each, and they are all set on different ports.

Do I have to alter the TP and/or frequency for each? If so, any suggestions (lyngsat has many options)?

I live in Toronto, Ontario.

Thanks.

some receivers you have to press sat button on remote and select echostar package or nimiq package.

with captiveworks you need to go into the menu and change channel no. to SID

QUESTION:
Hi guys,

I am new to SV 8000.
I just got it going and scanned the only one satellite that I receive.
When I check the channels in the Guide they are mixed up.
How can I have them properly ordered?

Thanks

I like DN channel 121,or Bev channel 630..but here are some others..

These channels are on transponders that transmit the providers EEPG and EPG information. Put your receiver on the appropriate channel for five minutes or so and your guide should be populated. If this doesn't work for you, see the note at the bottom.

119w 12486 TP19 EPG
200 Cable News Network
202 Headline News Network
303 Home Box Office (West)
320 Showtime Too

119w 12472 TP18 EEPG
145 ESPN Alternate
239 WGN Superstation(Chicago)
424 Comcast Sports Net-Mid Atlantic
427 Fox Sports Ohio
436 Fox Sports North
438 Sports Net New York
881 WGN Superstation (Chicago)

If you don't have 119w, the following are lists for each individual DN sat:

61.5w 12632 TP29
607 PolSat 2
615 RTP Internacional
620 GEO TV
644 LBC America
645 Al Jazeera Satellite Channel
670 Middle-East Broadcasting Centre

110w 12516 TP21
163 VH-1 Classic
207 CNBCW
309 Home Box Office Latino
321 Showtime Showcase
329 The Movie Channel (West)
330 The Movie Channel Xtra (West)
347 Encore WAM

129w 12457 TP17
7932 WAHU CA 27 (Fox)
7933 WHTJ TV 41 (PBS)
9408 Starfish TV Network
9413 Almavision
9417 Educator TV
9710 3 Angels Broadcasting Network
9901 You have a D*sh at 129°

148° 12486 TP19
607 PolSat 2
615 RTP Internacional
620 Geo TV

These next two are for Exp*essVu.
Remember to add 1000 to the Ex*ressVu channel number if you use BEV channel renumbering.

82w 12341 TP9
781 AOV Movies
782 AOV MaleFlixxx
860 SRC

91w 12311 TP7
167 VuF7 Télé a la carte
218 E!Hamilton
240 Global Edmonton
280 NBC East
296 WSBK Boston
352 Vu2 Pay-Per-View
357 Vu7 Pay-Per-View
364 Vu14 Pay-Per-View
410 The Score
510 BBC World News

Note:If (after trying to update using any of the above channels) you still do not have any EPG information showing, perform a factory reset and rescan the satellites you need. Check your time settings. This should correct any EPG problems.

Thanks!

Awesome info.

One more question (I don't want to start another thread), is there a way to confirm that my SonicView8000 is not a clone?

Thanks again.
