HI guys what happend to thread with 118.7 info on it. actually i bought a special lnb to get 118.7 and i can't even get 119 with it,
its not c....(forgot the name) but it says has low freq, etc..
any ways i need to get a bigger dish
my question is this
i have 3 dishes and 2 rec
and i am using 2 dp34 switch
1 dish (82 ,91) with two lnb goes to diseqc switch and from there to two rec
same with the 148 dish..
so now i am trying to get 118.7,119 l110
i have two lnb's and will get the dish later? do i need to get an extra switch to add two lnb's ? what is the setup i need to do?

Sada: Use the 148W dish for 110W. You will need to realign it. Forget 148w.
When you get the new 33" Dish, install the CB2008A on it as the only LNB for 118 and 119 both.
However, the problem is your DP34 has only three LNB inputs and may not be compatible with the CB2008A. So you could use a $ to 1 DisEqC switch ($5 only) for four LNBs. Depending upon the nature of your 82/91W LNB(s), you may or may not run into problems using a DisEqC switch. If DisEqC switch works with your 82/91 you are OK and and could discard your DP34.
If your 82W has two outputs and 91 W has two outputs you can use another DisEqC switch for the second receiver.
If your current LNB for 148W has two outputs, you can use the second output on another DisEqC switch.
The CB2008A has two outputs for two receivers and is compatible with DisEqC switches.
Unless you are planning for more than two receivers, you will be OK with the following four LNBs.
1. three standard dual output LNBs for 110W, 82W and 91W. You probably have 1 or 3 now. They cost $10-15 each
2. One CB2008A with dual output for two receivers. Costs about $20-40
3. One 33" dish for about $50
4. two DisEqC switches for about $5 each.

As a total alternative you can consider using a DP44. It has a four sat input and four receivers output and a power insert. However look into compatibility problems.
King might have a better solution, but I am much more in favour of sticking to straightforward 4 to 1 or 8 to 1 switches for a two receiver solution.

Programming the CB2008A.

For 118.7w
LNB type: Universal or cicular
LNB freq: 9750-10750
First TP 11715 (V) (add all freq for 118.7 as per Lyngsat but you don't need to if you do a full/blind scan with the initial.

For 119W scan,change to
LNB type: Universal or standard
LNB Freq.: 11250
First TP: 12224 (V) or 12239 (H)
Do a full or Blind scan.

Best of luck.

thanks nalin.
sorry i am using two disqc switch . (i believe, will double check)
yes thats a good idea move my 148 dish towards 110 and with the other 33 inch i will get 118.8 and 119 .
my question is this if i buy a 33 inch dish my 18 inch dish is already mounted ,so can i just remove the front part and change it to bigger dish? will this work?

what is the reason that with 18 inch i can't even get with 119 with special lnb?
does it only works with 33 inch dish.
thanks again.

you can get 119 but not 118,75
You can use old LNB only if it is same clamp holder

what is the reason that with 18 inch i can't even get with 119 with special lnb?

If you use a 18" dish, you not get all Tp available.

Try it - it can't hurt.
