DTS on Denon DVD-2200

Can someone vouch for the DTS quality on the Denon DVD-2200 player? Is the built-in DTS decoder pretty good? I am looking to swap out a NAD T532 for this Denon if the DTS decoder is good.

My NAD T742 receiver does not handle decoding the DTS stream from DTS CD's well (2 second delay) and I hope having a DVD player with a built-in DTS decoder will solve the problem.

Comments? Thoughts?

Since I now have one of these, I thought I would answer my own question...

The Denon DVD-2200 has an internal decoder that will "downmix" the DTS to a 2-channel PCM stereo track. It sounds okay like this, but obviously the digital bitstream is much better. This is a nice option for those who might not have DTS capability on their receiver.

My receiver still has the two-second pause on DTS CD's - but Denon DVD player has a slight pause before the DTS track is played, so the actual amount of sound missed on the track is a little less than when pushed from the T532 DVD player. This is a big plus!
